Convoy of Hope is coming to Montgomery on November 17, 2007.

Convoy of Hope™ is a non-profit organization that provides resources to churches and organizations to meet both physical and spiritual needs for the purpose of making the community a better place. This is accomplished domestically and internationally through outreaches, supply lines, and disaster response.
At Convoy of Hope™ outreaches, local businesses,
churches, and community agencies come together to provide thousands of people with a message of hope, free groceries, health screenings, job fairs, haircuts, games and activities for children, and much more. All goods and services—which are donated and supplied locally, are provided to guests free of charge. This all-volunteer outreach
mobilizes hundreds of area residents to serve and make a difference in their community. Strong participation by local businesses, churches, community agencies, and individuals is crucial to the success of this outreach.
Convoy of Hope™ has and continues to build partnerships with local businesses, churches, and community agencies across America. Virtually every major city in the United States has hosted a Convoy of Hope™ outreach.
These partnerships have resulted in the following
accomplishments:
• Businesses, churches, and communities coming together • Thousands of volunteers trained and mobilized
• Millions of pounds of food and supplies distributed • A genuine demonstration of Christian love
